Junior Artist
The Company
We are lolgh – the biggest and baddest animation studio in Africa…soon. Our comic strips and toons are our awesome attempt at depicting isolated, stupid and funny events in Ghana, Africa and the world. Just jokes really!!! :)
We are just a cool bunch who want to make people laugh everyday by exposing the Ghanaian and African everyday way of life in a different and funny light. Our plan is to keep putting out the most awesome content and keep pushing the boundaries of excellence in animation and comic art. We also have a TON of stuff in our roadmap!!! We would love to expand our team to include like-minded people who genuinely want to push the boundaries of excellence in animation and content and would love for you to join us in this journey.
What you go do…
- Create complex environments for key animation scenes.
- Work with our lead artist to create and push out ideas in the form of comics and create new characters.
- Ensure timely completion of required content at the desired quality bar.
You go fit? You should have…
- Good solid graphic design skills as well as a solid portfolio to show art-style and experience.
- Tech-friendly and at least some experience with some of the following software: Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
- Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced atmosphere.
- Driven to take ownership of your work and bring it across the finish line.
- Can take and give criticism like a boss.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to pivot as priorities change.

- Create keyframe animations for characters and props.
- Work with the team to collaboratively bring characters to life.
- Ensure timely completion of animation commitments at the desired quality bar.
You go fit? You should have…
- Experience with character animation/rigging and puppet driven character animation.
- Character rigging experience and illustration skills a huge bonus.
- A solid sense of timing and spacing.
- Tech-friendly and at least some experience with some of the following software: ToonBoom, Adobe Animate CC, After Effects, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, and Photoshop.
- Ability to operate and make timely decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced atmosphere.
- Driven to take ownership of your work and bring it across the finish line.
- Can take and give criticism like a boss.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to pivot as priorities change.
